just got the new mame, 0142u3 and space harrier graphics messed up and no sound, super hang on {bootleg} sound all wrong, took ages for hang-on to get fixed...lol .. all ok in u2

when ever any one post a negative about mame someone has to jump on the band wagon and spurt the rules, just needs a bit more testing thats all... i only use mame for 80s stuff , the post was a joke against the hang-on sound fix thats all, ill just stick to the older mame that works... thanks to all who contribute to mame...

It's not so much that you are posting that there is something wrong - it's the manner you go about it, as well as the fact that it's already reported at it's proper location: http://www.mametesters.org/view.php?id=4339
It's a lingering issue that came up during the u3 cycle due to core changes that has not been resolved yet. Could be fixed this afternoon or next year - impossible to tell. You should stay with the main (0.141, 0.142) releases. U releases historically have breakage than the main ones as new coding is done.
