Good to see Kale has that simulated enough to working even though the mcu is still on the wanted list.

? SDIP64 Nichibutsu Terra Force ? SDIP64 Nichibutsu Kodure Ookami ? SDIP64 Nichibutsu Armed Formation --
-- EDIT (23-apr-2011):
After some consolidation we got this....Also fixed the NB1414M4 priority bit, it mostly helps with Terra Force intro and title screen: --
Now that the games are working better, some updated screensnaps by AntoPISA are in order for the Nichibutsu games: Terra Force, Kodure Ookami, and Ninja Emaki.

What I really would like to see more often on WIP pages are before/after screenshots. This would make it easier to appreciate the hard work that go into drivers.

Not to be rude, but just be thankful screenshots and status updates are posted at all. Going back to a previous revision, taking the shot, and uploading it to the WIP site requires time and effort that are in limited supply, especially given the "hard work that go[es] into drivers" as you put it. Besides, if you want a "before" screenshot you can always check out the existing driver yourself.

Of course I can check it out by myself but I am sure that not only I am interested in the difference between the states before and after the magic happens. I just think it would be a nice addition to all the flyers, inis etc. to have a screenshot timeline per game/driver.

I didn't mean that a mamedev should do this kind of thing. This would be an interesting project for someone who isn't (yet) a developer but wants to get to know the project better. It could perhaps even have a positive side-effect on bug tracking. If I had a little more spare time I would do it myself to show it can be done and is useful.

Seems like a waste to me, I'm not sure who would benefit.

I don't think there's a benefit from a lot of things people do around MAME. Doesn't mean many of them aren't viscerally cool and make your geek-senses tingle. Certainly a driver progress timeline in screenshots fits that description I think (but boy would I not want to have to make one).
People (or at least male people) respond better to visual stimulus. It's why software without screenshots available sells less. It's why I've been randomly adding tons of screenshots to the MESS wiki. (It also lets me play "MESS Slots", where I reload the main page until all 3 random screenshots are a driver I've worked on and/or a screenshot I took).

Video clips of before and after with example of the "sprite color cycling effects" enabled in the driver file.
Does Chouji Meikyuu Legion have more protection features compared to the other Nichibutsu games in the driver file?

Nah, it's identical:
Just not that interesting to show because it's more or less like before.

Okay. Good work there with improving the Nichibutsu games.

Other than merging the two drivers it's still flawed with unemulated protection ... the i8751 MCU has code snippets and don't really feel into looking at it.

Guru,
Is there any news about the Saturn CD SH1 that was decapped? I saw that there were issues on Decapitator's site, but that's it.
