I guess the commuter was cleared to cross the taxiway, but had to stop midway due to a truck crossing the tarmac. You can see this clearly on other footage. Basically the truck should have yielded, but at the same time the traffic controller was cutting it waaaay too close with allowing the commuter to cross the taxiway with the A380 right there. On top of that, the A380 should have seen the obstruction and slowed, knowing that he has a 220+ ft wingspan on a 75 ft taxiway.
The commuter pilot was probably the only one in this scenario who didn't make a critical error (unless he didn't have authorization to cross the taxiway...)
