I saw a tomcat running around the corner outside of the house literally go airborne in a gust... tumbling midair a couple times and landed I'd guess about 15 feet from where he lifted off... awesome!
I was outside wheeling a wagon full of boards to fix a fence that's flailing around... until I saw that cat, ands then the boards started blowing one at a time off my wagon and flying away. First, good thing I wasn't downwind of the boards, Second... what can I do indoors today.
If there's one thing I learned from a couple years back while trying to work on that solar heater thing... Is that that south wind is always strong.
A bit off-topic but when I got off the computer this morning to go to bed... I go into my living room and the sun light shining in on my dark green carpet... It just seemed more yellow than usual. I went outside and I could see the same thing while looking at my lawn.
I also heard about some wild fires in Texas... That got me to thinking there must be some smoke blowing all the way from TX to cause that.
