Does anyone here know much about Money Idol Exchanger? I'm curious about the following:
- In Vs CPU mode, is the ending sequence different if you don't use continues?
- In two-player mode, does character selection affect anything besides music, sounds and animation?
- Is the appearance of special items purely random, or is there more to it than that?
- Does Gatinha kick arse at this game?

*Can't answer* but I do think it would be easier on the wrist if the Left/Right directions were controlled with a dial or something. Going back and forth like that gets tiresome.
But you'd still need up/down for selecting other things in menus. :-/

Yeah. Palamedes, Money Idol Exchange, Magic Drop, that whole genre irks me for that reason. Tetris and Klax for some reason don't, even though they're the same back and forth action... not sure why. Maybe it's the shooting up as opposed to the controlling downward falls that feels more tiresome.

Didn't know it existed until now... but since that pandoras box has been opened... so far her innate skill at these stupid games dominates mine. Thanks for asking.

Since I mentioned Klax... I can beat her at Klax. Oh, but she doesn't like Klax for some reason.

Money Idol Exchanger requires you to repeatedly tap to move across the screen - Tetris allows you to hold the stick for larger moves. But I play piano - I'm used to hitting things repeatedly, so playing Money Idol Exchanger on the keyboard doesn't stress me. I can understand why others would find it tiresome.

My wife's been playing it for hours every day this week, but I can still beat her. She can beat me at Puyo Puyo, easily whip me into submission in Puzzle Bobble, and leave me for dead in Gururin. But I'm not letting go of my hold on Tetris and Money Idol Exchanger.
