I may never get the chance to play Star Rider again either through MAME or for real, unless I want to travel hundreds of miles and intrude on some collectors life for a few games. From what I understand the chances of it working when you get to it at any SHOW it appears at are slim!

This game and I only got to share a few intimate credits together while it resided in a pizza parlour in my SMALL MT hometown. The memories are singed into my being!

This particular gaming room was situated in a way that had the equally bad-ass Sinistar cab almost directly behind the Sit-down Star Rider so he was ALWAYS there taunting me from behind with his attract mode audio.

Our time together was short, The game was only there when I visited on 3-5 occasions and I was able to almost finish it! (Although I didn't know that at the time being 10 or so)

And so my longing began and continues. Although I have heard endless and undeniable statements that it is the worst LD-game EVER, To this 10 year old it was THE SHIT!

I have probably searched ebay (more than anyone for Star Rider) thousands of times hoping even a stand up cab would be local but Alas all I found was this crummy T-shirt!

So when I die, even if I haven't played SR again at least they can bury me in this shirt!

Instead of a coffin I would prefer if they could just shove my dead ass into one of those butchered, Bad-Ass, black, round, Duramold, Blaster cabs you see on ebay occasionally.
Throw some dirt on it and call it good.
