the entire pacific ring of fire will probably be seeing activity. earthquakes aren't like plane crashes, they are indicative of larger happenings in the earth. they occur along the edges of plates - when there's plate movement, expect all kinds of nastiness along the rim.

6.1 is the official reading. It felt just as strong as the big one on the 11th because it was considerably closer to me (and shallow)
