How to turn ON BG Music in this game ? Is this possible(emulated or no yet) ? On official MAME site I could read only this : Zoom sound DSP is currently unemulated. ...but, it does not tell me much, You know I am just a simple MAME user

Unemulated sound DSP -> no full sound -> nothing you can do. sorry. *nt*

It's assumed that even "simple MAME users" can see "sound" and "unemulated" in that sentence and come to the obvious conclusion that there is unemulated sound and therefore the game will not produce all sound. Perhaps we assume too much.

Probably You are right... again. But in my eyes key-word is "Zoom" - I could easily understand what is Visual zooming, on the other hand audio zoom is a little bit confusing. Anyway thanks for Your answers, I appreciate that.
(My "mother language" is macedonian - it's fonetical pure language at contrary of english which You have to learn Your own language all of Your life, maybe that's the reason for some unintentional "stupid look-alike questions")

Macedonia, the country or the Greek province?

In this case "ZOOM" is the name of the manufacturer of the audio chip which is unemulated. http://www.zoom.co.jp/
The chip in question is the ZOOM ZSG-2, which is a DSP.
The remaining chips in the sound emulation - Panasonic MN1020012A - TMS57002 DSP are also at different levels of emulation completion.

Thats clarify situation; One "unhappy choice" of name(zoom) and it easily could mislead to wrong conotation - zooming audio... khm

Why did Zoom change their logo... the old one is so much better :-) I guess "SG" part stand for "sound generator" and it adds no effects at all (like reverb). I found the TMS57002 datasheet and it has less inputs than ES5510 so this soundsetup (Zoom and toshiba combo)is less flexible than the one for Taito F3... Taito must have changed because Ensoniq was bought by Creative.

Do we have a full list of PCBs that used the chip? I may be able to find one for decapping assuming it's a DSP with internal ROM?

Hold your horses. I'm not sure where this "dsp" thing is coming from, but it isn't one, it's just a pcm chip like we have a bunch emulated already. The current problems are that the mn102 core is annoyingly buggy (and I should know, I wrote it) which makes understanding the zoom harder than it should. But since H&I managed to understand the sample format (it's documented in the source now) there is no real roadblock, it just needs work.
Incidentally, fixing the mn102 core and reverse-engineering/emulating the zoom would be a nice project for someone from the slightly less hard than usual category.
OG.

The ZFX-2 is the accompanying DSP (the later, PowerPC-based Taito hardware have it)

Apologies for passing on misinformation originally produced by System16.com. I did know you exposed it as a PCM chip a while back.
That and there IS a DSP chip of theirs we have to worry about at some point as Phil says.
