Apparently it was supposed to have been released at the end of 2010. Can anybody confirm if Space Battleship: Yamoto has been completed?

It has been released in december actually, 2 months ago. It seems it's pretty good and getting nice reviews, but for now it's not being distributed outside Asia.
I saw Star Blazers when I was a kid but I can't really recall much except that the spaceship was damn cool.
(More or less by the fact that I saw it in a language I didn't understand much).
