DU Update: Magic Touch 2

We got a touchscreen multigame gambler called Magic Touch 2. It looks like it might have been an upgrade kit for Megatouch XL era machines. This is an old one, apparently they have made Magic Touch 12 already, maybe even more. Siftware dumped the original Magic Touch last year.

It came with some crappy paperwork and a screen print of the game running and it says Magic Touch 2 so I think it's not a Micro one actually and was made by Amutronics.

Okay.
There's another Amutronics company besides this known Amutronics?
A mystery to be determined later. If there's any TV Hockey schematics within that paperwork, it's a wanted item for the non-cpu video game side.

It looks like the motherboard is just an old 486 PC motherboard (or possibly 386 but I doubt it). It looks like this company produced their own daughtercards to plug into them, so you'd just pull out an XL daughter card and cd drive and plug this in and swap the stickers. That's some guesswork but... I mean they probably sold full kits too with the motherboard, it's just a generic old PC motherboard, but obviously the daughter card only option could probably save both parties a lot. Anyway the daughter card is different but I can't imagine it would be very difficult to emulate this thing after XL is emulated.

Hmm I saw a similar PC board at my old school. Is this literally the entire PCB? Unless the ISA card is bootable, I can't see where the bootloader would be.

--- http://www.amutronics.com/
Yeah, they have a website. ---
The 1970s era is in NJ while this newer Amutronics is in NY. I wonder if there is some connection between the two....probably not, but would be amusing if there was some relation between the old company and the new company. The various info sites will have to differentiate between the two companies. My opinion is Amutronics Inc. (NJ) and Amutronics Inc. (NY) to keep confusion minimal.
