Transparent "Disco Ball" Lens
Looks like this:
Found on a kids light sabre, produces an awesome light show on the cheap. Looking for raw lenses, or something close. Not interested in buying a ton of kidie light sabres and pulling them apart....
The first thing that came to my mind was some LED Christmas light coverings, made of clear plastic. So I doubt they'd have any true prismatic / light refractive properties (if that's what you're REALLY after). The best place to look might be any holiday clearance items in, like, Wal-Mart. :-/
eta: Although... What I mentioned they're about under 1/2 an inch in diameter... so that might be too small... Given that round thing is on the bottom of a toy light sabre. That might be ...(what?) 2 inches in diameter?
