Just to be clear, that's a clone written for Windows, not a SNES (or other console) ROM hack.

i like everything except the overworld maps - i have no fucking clue what's going on. the design doesn't give you any sense of progression or orientation. i'm just piping all over the place and it doesn't seem like a logical content flow.

It is loads of fun. There was some concerns of a virus or spyware included with the install. I noticed that. Google chrome tried to install with it but it was easy enough for me to click no and continue. Since install, and subsequent malwarebytes scans have been clean.
There are some control schemes to get used to but once you have it's really a lot of fun. I've got installed on my cab and would recommend it as a download.

Really? I find it kind of disorienting. I've only seen it in the videos, though, I haven't tried it in person yet.
