I don't see much remarkable here. It's not a high level function to select categories. And if you have a huge-ass database, it's merely a matter of having the answer in it. Easier for a computer, because there are no 'distracting' thoughts/thought routines.

Jeopardy offers a lot of questions that have to do with proper parsing of English, understanding jokes, rhyming, etc.
