NFL Blitz and PC Hardware

Hey guys,
I'm not an overclocker and am looking to do a revamp on my current C2D processor...it's a 6xxx series. Is there a stock Intel or AMD processor that will run Blitz in x64 MAME in Win7 at full speed or close?
Thanks, Jason

AFAIK, any dual or more core Core-series of 3.2 GHz or more should run Blitz full speed (possibly with occasional slowdowns on the lower end of that range). As always, you can get a good idea of game speeds from John IV's MAME benchmarks.
If you're looking to do a relatively extensive upgrade, wait a month or two for Intel's codename "Sandy Bridge" processors - they use a new socket so you'll get a more future-proof build then. (And they should be a bit faster per-clock than what's out now).
