I don't like it. It's like super nerdism without the nerd charisma of the "Neo-Geo-Neo-Geo" guy. Even the original Billy Joel song ate shit and now I just have a shitty song in my head.

Wasn't so bad when I first heard it but as I recall, at least in this market, it was played constantly over and over when it came out for what seemed like weeks, maybe months until it drove me bonkers.

Heh, good thing i didn't listen to radio before 1994 (pure TV cartoons, shows and videogames). On the other hand, isn't that what has happened to any song reaching top charts till today? Right now there's a Shakira song is tiring/boring me as hell. I used to blame radio stations but then realized, as in any other market reaching for audience, they have to do what people asks. If they want to listen the same song up to three times in the same hour is definitely people's fault.
Internet has done us a favor when it takes to selective entertainment (type and time). I only wish there were an AdBlock Plus add-on for TV and radio broadcasting, though that would do more harm than good for everyone.
