mame on 2nd monitor?

Hi!
how to start/play mame only on 2nd monitor? hmm... mame -screen0 //.DISPLAY2 dosn't work.

Run a game w/ the verbose option and check the display info, sometimes video drivers don't report that correctly.. so it may be //.DISPLAY4 instead or whatever.
Actually, try \\.\DISPLAY2 instead, per the mame.ini.

Nevermind. He only wanted to do that on 1 screen, not 2 at the same time.

try like this in mame.ini:
numscreens 2 resolution0 1360x768 resolution1 640x480
use resolution of your monitors instead of 1360x768 and 640x480.

Instead of: "mame -screen0 //.DISPLAY2" I have to use: "mame -screen0 \\.\DISPLAY2"
Strange is that \\.\DISPLAY2 is actually the primary monitor, but mame shows screen0 on the other monitor.

That may have to do with which output of your video card is set to what, via the card's control panel (ie: 1 of 2, or, 2 of 2).
