Arcade Barn Charity Night - Devon, UK
#238982 - 11/15/10 03:49 PM

Anyone in the UK might be interested in a trip this Friday, 19th?

Retro Arcade - Arcadebarn www.arcadebarn.co.uk have an open evening in support of Children In Need.

37 cabs at least will be up and running on the night.

Check out their website and the Jammaplus forums www.jammaplus.co.uk/forum for more info on this.

See you there!

This sounds interesting as I live in north Devon!

I just googled 'North Devon' and clicked on the link 'Great things to do in North Devon and Exmoor'...

...It told me that this particular page doesn't exist

Only if Aaron goes. And wears the Orange shirt.

Oh, never mind...couldn't go regardless.

Hope you raise a mega-gigabyte worth of money!

Come on down then, I work in the same building as the barn and was watching new cabinets and PCB's being rolled in today for the event.

The more the merrier.

The old UK MAME meet, with Orc in the photo, still cracks me up.

RocLobsta ... I'd love to come down (from London) - sounds pretty cool - if I could grab a drive. Although with the floods down in the SW, any probs.?

BTW, I know of a great 15th century mansion about 10 miles from Minehead (haunted by Mary Queeen of Scots apparently) run by a bloke who loves his cider!

Not been down there in a while now, but I'm sure I have his number around & he would accommodate for a good party if he's not busy - only arcade action - a pool table!

EDIT: Just realised that it's later tonight (Fri.) - I'm on though if I get down there - takes only about 5 hours by car!

BTW, just found the chap I was on about - http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=22999723173

Ask for Roy, from Shane @ Decisions (maybe Penny)... he'll have no clue! I'm sure ... all I remember is sailing in the wind (only a few that night remember!).

The floods were in Cornwall, at least 100 miles further down from here.

There are a few making the trip from London already.

Get in your car and get going, I think it starts about 6pm. I'll be there about 7.30.

If you cant get in the main door of the building (it's shared), either ring the number on the van outside, or go up the left hand side of the building (not the car parks side) and knock on the 4th door.
