Oh no....that place has a fair amount of games not dumped yet and I will say it is a goldmine opportunity there to get lots of audio recordings and video recordings....if the establishment there permits audio or video recordings. I hope someone nearby there can get any audio or video recordings of games being played while still possible.
One Taito game should be on needed list.
- Taito Spacian part 2 -
And also Taito Galaxy Wars could use audio recordings. imo it is imperative that if anyone can get any recordings of games from there, that will be huge imo.

Excellent. I always knew there was a crazy bass sound in the bounce.

The Space Stranger cabinet has an overlay. It is different to MAME's cocktail version. So i have updated the overlay in MAME. Download the zip, copy the new layout to your \mingw\src\mame\layout directory, compile it and toggle between Upright and Cocktail overlay in the 'Video Options' menu.

It's very strange because the previous set was supposedly recorded by Brian Deuel from his machine but the "bounce" sounds nothing like this one
It would be nice to get his thoughts on this.

Good news! I've got my hands on a 100% *real* set of Circus samples, dumped by Brian Deuel from his own machine.

> Specian Part 2 I hear that it has been ROM hack of Galaxian and released for an emulator. So it may be copied from (original) ROM image.
Also I hear Dracula Hunter (Technon Kougyou) has worked and Gaikotsu 999 (OM) is set (but not worked...) in this place.

Something else I noticed: the copyright for the game is given as belonging to Toyosaka Industry on that website, but the version in MAME is from Yachiyo Electronics.
Don't know if the information on the website is wrong or if I'm seeing an artifact of Google's translation of the site, but it could possibly be an undumped version.

---- >gregf Here you can see the video.
*Titan(unknown) - videoclip no longer exists.
(Some of his videos are recorded at "Natsukashi-Yokocyou".) It seems to be rewriting the character of "piranha".
*T.T Spacian part 2(Taito?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0j5qcZjtUI Behavior patterns of this game looks the same as "Galaxian part4". ----
Nice. A very good collection of videos there including one of Sega's Deep Scan too which the single version (not dual version) is still needed.
Paperwork for Deep Scan is accounted for....so eventually the audio could be emulated, but it might be a while before sounds are emulated.

I haven't heard this set yet, but if they sound better than the ones I recorded, then all the better. It appears that the new samples were recorded from a non-US machine, judging by the cabinet pictures. Maybe that would explain the differences in the sounds. The set I provided were recorded by hooking up the speaker wires directly to my computer, and no manipulation was done to them except to convert them to mono (Gridle did this, IIRC). I'm no audio engineer, so anything better than what I did is most definitely welcome

Alright thanks for the info, perhaps the US and Japanese sounds are different

Attack of real life, no doubt. MAMEDEV hears from him chiming in from the peanut gallery once a month or so. (not saying I am NOT part of the peanut gallery...)

That's just a Universal cabinet running the Circus pcb (notice the Universal instruction card) similar to running it in any common jamma arcade cabinet. There could be different revisions of the audio pcb if separate from the main board, or, adjustable audio pots.
