If you want to keep adding projects like this, something to consider would be a redone flyer pack project going back through TAFA and just making the packs with the full jpg's they have, no shrinking or converting. You'd have to get their permission first of course but they would probably go for it and it would be awesome to have the full versions in frontends. The current/past packs have never been big enough and now in the age of widescreen monitors at 1920x1080, they are thumbnails. I realize that pnging them at their size would produce too large of packs but I'm pretty sure frontends would add jpg support if the packs were made. That or they'd lose out big time, or people could download and then convert them to png and waste hd space... Anyway, something to think about. Keep up the good work.

My personal collection of Flyers (in PNG format) is currently composed of 3,100 images, most taken from the site of TAFA. The JPG, if implemented in MAME, would be a little lighter... We'll see.
Meanwhile, I continue to keep it updated for my private use.

Well hell just release it in png packs then, I didn't know you were already working on it... Size isn't important enough for you to redo the download effort or recompress (would make them look worse than they do on TAFA).

p.s. An updated flyer pack from you would be nice.  At the moment I have my private flyers hi-res pack with 3000 hi-res png files collected for mame 0.134 from many sources and an updated dat file for this pack for 0.140.
And a Control Panels pack from you would be nice too!?
