Logiqx MAME Dat files

Hi all,
I'm not knowledgable with dat files. I used to just grab the latest and greatest MAME dat file from Logiqx's website, as I used them for the Maximus Arcade front end. Where else can I get a dat file? I just finished a compile/clrmamepro procedure for .140. All is well. Just need a dat file to update my game list for Maximus Arcade. How can I do this if I can't get Logiqx's dat file?
Thanks, Jason

Why not just get an xml file from MAME then convert it using DatUtil from Logiqx?
MAME -LISTXML >temp.xml
For old style dats.. datutil -s -o [NAME].dat -f listinfo temp.xml
For xml style..
datutil -s -o [NAME].xml -f listxml temp.xml

Hmmm...not sure what the issue is. I ran your syntax and created the temporary xml and then ran datutil to produce a .dat file and also the other method of the xml file. I then tried to zip up and test both file types using winzip. If I use the .dat file and point MA to it, I get an "out of range" error. The xml format isn't supported in MA. I went back to Logiqx's last available zip file of .138 and it works just fine. I do use MAME 64 bit since I have a C2D in my system. Any other ideas?
Thanks again for the help.

You can import the data in cmpro directly from the exe, then go to scanner->setinformation (little button bottom left in the scan results window and hit the export button there... This will export the currently loaded data to a datfile...however this is the 'clean' version, i.e. common datfile errors are fixed during import...
(cmpro.ini setting "Adv_DatFormatXML = on" switched between xml and old format)

Running the dat export directly from clrmamepro as Roman had stated worked perfectly! Thanks again for your help!
