MAME 0.140 64bit official build - no sound

Official 0.140 32bit works with sound, official 0.140 64bit does not.
Does anyone else have this problem?
PC Spec:
Windows 7 Prof (64bit)
Dell PC with Realtek HD audio

no. MAME 0.140 64-bit version works just fine, with sound, on Windows 7 x64.

I'll try a fresh install then, i extracted on top of previous version, and deleted contents of CFG and NVRAM (which normally works just fine).

Interesting there was no sound though in any game before, lol.
