Thanks to f205v we ordered an Out Run Deluxe Rev.B set but it turned out to be regular old Out Run. We got it fairly cheap though and will dump the pals and resell.

With some help from Jred I upgraded to a BP Micro 1400 programmer. I got an extremely good deal on it because it wasn't fully tested (drops the auction value significantly) but I've been testing it and it works perfectly. I will be able to sell my old programmer for more than I paid for this one. You might not be able to tell from the pic but it's enormous, 1 foot wide.

We got a Knights of Valour cart. I wasn't really sure if it was an undumped version or not but 95% of the KOV dumps we have still need their protection read so didn't have much to lose buying it. It turns out it's kovplusa. It uses an IGS 027 chip, not 027A as it's currently marked in the source.

Guru dumped Puyo Puyo DA!, as mentioned on Belmont's page, and the cart version of Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon. Phil B. has been working on Arabian which used an MCU that was similar to or possibly identical to the one used in Banbam. ogoun decapped the Arabian MCU but hasn't made pictures yet to compare. There should be a pic of the VLM5030's ROM online soon for people to type up.

Tom has dumped the hard drive for Offroad Thunder and hopefully will get us the boot rom (or whatever it used, I've never seen high res pics of the motherboard) soon. He's also dumping a bunch of Type X/X2 hard drives. Other than that I've been working on getting some cheap boards for pal dumps and decaps. Oh and the latest Japan deal is just about wrapped up so maybe we'll see those boards in a couple of weeks.

Its the same as the one I have. Unless you have some specific use for it it's not really any better than the one you had before and its still parallel so no faster either. I rarely use mine except for certain types of chips where I have the special module. It would have been better to go for one of the more popular programmers where you can use common and cheap device socket adapters.
The main problem with that programmer is it checks the type of ROM you want to dump and if your socket module is not the right one it wont read it even if you use the correct DIP to surface-mount socket adapter (as you already discovered with your other BP programmer). Its got an eeprom in the module which checks the ID of the device you want to read and there's no way around it except to buy the expensive module which replaces the standard DIP48 module.

I know, and I'm still planning on getting one of the other type, but like I was saying I got such a good deal on this that I'll be able to sell my 1200 for way more than I paid for this, so it was easily worth it. Also this 1400 has more flash rom capabilities even with the 1 official BP adapter I have.

I like to know if you can update your Naomi page. Doki Doki Idol Star Seeker and Project Justice has been dumped and are already in MAME.

Atomiswave page also needs to be updated since Maximum Speed and Faster than Speed have been dumped.

Do you know when you'll updated those pages?

There are a few more things need to be updated on the naomi page.

The 2 Chihiro Mahjong Games Sangokushi Taisen 2 and Sangokushi Taisen 3 are dumped and already in MAME.
http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/driverinfo/chihiro.c
The Triforce DIMM Updater has been dumped and already in MAME as well.

One of the DU members has the Initial D Version 2 (Export Version) Handy and is dumping it. Please update that as well.

I agree that the sega model 3 page needs updated as well.
