I changed the database query in the script to specify which ones are included in order to facilitate greater control of what's shown.
EDIT: I can also add an extra option to the theme config which will allow all admins to add or subtract as desired.

Balancing between the gray pixels and the sharp edges. This looked the best out of the others I worked on. Stupid transparencies.

Edit: a Side-by-side comparison...
It's not as noticeable when you're using the (some) theme.
When the background is light - the one we currently have looks okay.
If the background is dark - it does look bad.... And we can't have that. Seriously.

I know, but the smaller you get the more detail you lose. 
But I suppose one could still be made smaller and still be recognizable.
