Sega R360
#230634 - 08/23/10 10:37 PM

While browsing through this site, it made me wonder about the current status of R360 emulation, such as:

Has the Attendant Towers software been dumped?
Can you output the signals via MAME's output?

Interested because I'm think of an electronic project to do at somepoint, so would be fun to play G-LOC 360 with a model R360 spinning around

EDIT: Also, has Wing War R360 been dumped or is it so rare it's not been on eBay or Yahoo?

G-LOC R360 is in MAME currently, the harness and saftey features continue by clicking the start buttons.

Due to the R360's production being ceased, there are few Win War R360 cabs and these board sets are rare, thus, It's not in mame.

By saying both, I meant the attendant tower software and Wing War R360.

Then no, the attendant's tower software is dumped for MAME AFAIK, and neither is Wing War R360 Game or Tower

The tower menu? You can't, has different software than the G-LOC R360 set.

In an R360 Tower, there's a few selves with boards. One shelf is powwer for the cab, another for the Servo motors. You then have a video switching board ect..

One of those boards has the is the Atendant's tower software board, this has all the stuff the you see normally on the screen. The motherboard on the door of the cabinet is the Game PCB. MAME Has the Game PCB, not the Tower PCB. Becaus of this, there is no way to access these extra features.
