I need help in making mame run more than one game on playchoice 10 at a time. We have a competietion we would like to try, but it involves using multipl games at once. I remember in my early mame days I actually made multiple games run on pc10 on mame. I have been up for almost two days trying to solve this issue I know it can be done I just need the instructions.

I don't believe the menu is emulated to enable what you want to do. You have to start each game as itself from MAME(UI). Maybe someone else will come along and say otherwise.

Thanks for responding, hopefully someone knows something I don't. I remember using MAME 32b version 109 when I saw this menu actually work. I distinctly remember seeing multiple games load up on that menu.

I really hope someone knows something different. It just makes no sense why it couldn't. I know it can.

It makes perfect sense. MAME only supports hardcoded gamelists, and the math on the number of lists you'd have to add gets horrifying pretty quickly. If you really want this, go write your own emulator that does it. The MAME source teaches what we know, someone just needs to go the rest of the way.

Which is similar to what i had to do for the megatech.c driver, though i've forgotten to test it.

I guess I could try that. I am not much of a programmer, but I really want this. Naoki, if possible can you tell me what you did. Like maybe a certain area in the code I need to change. Just somewhere to start on this.

Well Andy, you could try venom's suggestion.
