That’s just what interlaced video looks like on modern low-persistence screens. MAME might eventually get a deinterlacing filter, but for now it is what it is.

Why deinterlace instead of making use of the low persistance simulation already present in, for example, crt-geom-deluxe? Shouldn't that make it look more faithful to the real thing?

Very nice work! Thanks
Can these files be placed in MAME's artwork folder?

Thanks for the link. I like the view with scoreboard on right side and screen shifted over to the left.

You might want to talk to the Hypseus guys, they posted a video with a scanned keyboard here:

The YouTube preview image looks sweet:

Not sure why this even had to be said
Every artwork file released on my site has always given credit to all contributors for a particular game, since 2006.

So we can be specific in the credits: who contributed it... who scanned it... who cleaned up the artwork?
Thank you again... much appreciated!!

RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.

Steve Laity provided the source scan. I (NeoKarnage) edited and cleaned up the original source scan. The "Hypseus Project" (DirtBagXon) for hosting and promotion.
You're welcome. I'm happy there's a high quality scan of the keyboard available now.

I read .lay files, call me weird.

Low persistence simulation is one of the kinds of interlacing. What looks best depends on the specific content, which is why video players generally let you pick from among all of the options.
