Is it real as in "has this product been released"... no... I don't think so.
That page was an open survey that Hori posted January 2022... they were looking to gauge interest in those types of controllers, and which options people would be interested in.
I submitted my request myself last year, hoping they would be able to go with the modular one (see below).
I haven't seen any follow-up since then.
