Finding the SFX data of a ROM
#397168 - 10/01/23 01:24 PM

I built hardware using the SN76489 and I would like to know how to find the audio effects inputs to use the data directly on my hardware.
The BridgeM1 program can separate the inputs, but does not show the addresses on the Eprom.
How can I find the addresses of SFX entries?

You need to disassemble the program and figure out how the sound driver works. Alternatively, you can log writes to the SN76489 and trigger the sounds, then produce the same sequence of writes with your chip.
