progetto-SNAPs 0.256 update!

Although very late (for various reasons, for which I apologize) it is ready the MAME 0.256 update of "MAME progetto-SNAPS".
• It's available this folder on Mega.nz that allows individually download files to update from version to version. The folder will be temporarily available until the next update.
• In this update, thanks to the invaluable work of Gothrek - of https://www.arcadeitalia.net/ - who wrote a splendid and very useful application to rewrite the tags of .png images, I have completely eliminated the images that had SHA1 identical. So now there are no duplicates within the "Snap" category. In the 0.258 update (scheduled for September) the remaining ones will be eliminated. Thank you so much Luca!!!
• The next update is scheduled for Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Thanks for all your great work!

Just a note that your PCB datfile link is broken, from here.

Also this site should include the latest MAME dat. Even better if the samples dat can be listed on the first link above.

The one with the samples, as usual, will be included in the one with all the system dats, which I will release shortly.

I am missing pepp0042a.png and puckpkmnb.png after the update. Where can these files be found?

Due to the large number of replaced images (more than 20,000) the update is very slow.
I've just released on my site a new complete package, related exclusively to "Snaps".

Hi there Progetto i'm looking for 3 xml files for these 3 systems ( atomiswave & naomi & naomi 2 ) i want an up to date game list & rom names but everywhere i've checked is years old & the rom names are different to recent mame 0.257 list..

I thought I would ask you as you do a lot of support files.

I attached a package with three ini files.

As for my working method, it's a bit complicated to explain quickly. I'm just saying that I have an Access database that I update monthly with all the information that is useful to me for creating the various files I produce.
