vclock3 running behind PC clock
#396645 - 07/07/23 05:30 AM

I just tried VoxClock 3 on latest MAME (0.256) and for science I let the clock running a few hours. I noticed as it is now, it takes around 79 seconds to reach a minute. Overclocking main CPU to over 115% kinda fixes the issue, but still misses a second after a few hours.

I should be creating me a mametesters account, because once in a while I found these kind of things and it looks like a legit report. Searching for the driver there doesn't return this bug.

Does it run at a non-60hz refresh rate and do you have Refresh Sync on (I think that's the option). I know that there was some option to make the 61hz and 54hz/57hz games basically scale to 60hz (or, more properly, match your refresh rate).

I just figured it's worth a check as I'm fairly certain it would make games run slightly slow/fast respectively.

I run it on a laptop with a 60Hz framerate. I just tried with all default settings, deleted save states and configs and got the same result. Just in case I post my ini (they only contain changed settings, default valued lines are removed).
