I've been waiting for Burger Kids to show up for a while. Yes, that mouse sound is really annoying.
Sunwise produced a few other cutesy medal games that use the same "JOYM" (ジョイム) cabinet. One of these, Pyuuta-kun (ぴゅう太くん), was a licensed product apparently based on some weird toy console for preschoolers by Tomy, with no obvious relation between these and the much older Tomy Pyuuta (the Japanese version of the Tomy Tutor). Here's a video discussing its history in Japanese (and 6:47 shows that the medal game definitely runs on the same PCB as Power Kick and Burger Kids): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x33GkjYmLus

I wasn’t aware of this medal game product myself. I haven’t followed that area compared to non-cpu, handheld or even electronic musical equipment preservation. A couple of your recent Roland updates are good.
I am dreaming maybe the early V drum series or Roland digital guitars emulation might happen, but wishful thinking on my side. Pretending to play like guitarist Chuck Loeb playing the Roland digital guitar from group Steps Ahead Modern Times album (1984) opening tune ‘Safari’ would be the tops imo. : - )
Still wishful thinking because when I played Konami’s Guitar Freaks, I always get the audience boos treatment. Better for me just to stick with playing drums or Drummania.

The talking hamburger is where it’s at. Less mouse/ rats chew sound and more talking burger. Who cannot enjoy a talking burger.
