Its been a couple years so time to take a look again.
SQ seems to be running through the startup sequence much more smoothly however it gets stuck in a loop looking for the 3dfx card.
I think if the graphics card hookup was completed, savage quest would boot to the intro and missing dongle nag screen.
This game included a floppy for saving settings information. It does not need the disc for play. It simply looks for it and then moves on if it is not present.
The dongle was provided. Did anything come of that or just waiting for the game to be semi functional?
