Yeah, the author does have a certain perspective, as we all do. I mostly ignored the textual content though, and skipped right to the sexualized artwork.

"What happens when pinball machines are presented not only as playable games, {sic} but also as historical and contemporary cultural objects?" With all the free and easy access to porn, this pinhead is worried about a clothed woman on a pinball machine. Jesus, how our education has fallen.

Not much was said about Bride of Pinbot, so my guess is that the author didn't have any complaints about the theme or the graphical art. The comments were more about the "sexual" nature of the vocal components, and the "male response" to said vocals.
My guess is that the author had an agenda, but got lost due to the shear number of games to be covered and had to cut the "research" paper short.
I actually read most of it, and quickly got lost on the author's intent. Many games were subjected to harsh criticism, and others were "praised" for things that weren't even part of her thesis.
The order of her cases also caused confusion. Case in point...she makes a case that the Playboy machine shows male dominance because the women are in front of a male, and based on this and the placement of his hands, it shows male dominance, but the very next game (Star Trek) shows a woman behind a male with a gun, and she praises this because it is a woman of color also with a gun.
If I were to grade this paper, it would get a C+ simply because the objectives behind the thesis were not clear and, at times, confusing. The overall paper went all over the place in its research and was not concise enough to warrant substantial proof of her thesis.
