new WORKING machines Megumi Rescue [Jeff Willard Jr] —
For those that have been around for some, remember the game pcb was being listed on eBay seller Bill Burgers’ gigantic inventory of pcbs and parts and pieces that Bill had listed over the many years in which I also had purchased from Bill in the past.
This pcb slipped by unnoticed by many, but someone had a hunch it might be something,
btw: Even though Haze updated the source info a bit, the old info came from auction photos taken by seller Bill Burger. An old thread of the auction and game discussion still might be on a MW thread from ten to twelve years ago, but the auction listing is long gone. The old MW thread probably hasn’t scrolled off into vapor just yet.

In the comments section on YouTube emulated gameplay of the game is this: — John Clark
On the topic of obscure Sega arcade games, has there been any progress towards emulating Road Race/Fonz and it’s variants through MAME? —
The roms used with Sega Fonz are currently in MAME source thanks to Andrew Welburn.
https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/src/mame/drivers/segattl.cpp
Sega Road Race roms are still on the want list.
Some of the TTL chips used with the games are not yet emulated. A ways to go, but having roms supported is a big thing in itself.
I would not have believed Data East The Tower, Mattel Electronics led Rockwell cpu handheld games, this Sega game, and Atari Marble Madness 2 being supported in 2022, but it happened.
