Hope it's ok posting here as don't know where else to post.
( Hidden Catch 2 ) hidctch2 you cannot change the game mode to english & the demo mode to english but works fine in the clone version hidctch2a. Thank you
( kung-fu master ) kungfum & while loading the game the screen goes red the back to normal plus when you get hit with a knife the screen goes red so can somone confirm & report. thanks.

probably not a bug, this depends on the game code, that version doesn't appear to allow you to change those options, only the title. a lot of the Eolith sets (and some other Korean games) only allow you to change certain options in certain sets.

you're not using a proper version of MAME. This will not happen in a 0.235 release build, only if somebody hasn't used the proper tagged release branch when building. If you've got a 0.235 doing that it suggests a complete lack of quality control in the site you got it from and you should avoid that site in the future. (this is a post-release debug feature and will be happening in thousands of games, it indicates the volume levels are mixed too high, it is intentionally not in the 0.235 codebase)

Thanks Haze for the info at least i know why i'm getting a red screen,
as for ( Hidden Catch 2 ) hidctch2 you cannot change the game mode to english & the demo mode to english but works fine in the clone version hidctch2a i would have thought both sets would work the same but apparently not
