After 3 months of waiting for RAM, I've just upgraded by PC to a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, and today had the opportunity to have a play with a new Intel core i7-11700K setup. (Full system specs below.)

Benchmarks were preformed with Arcade MAME 64bit v0.229. (all roms were run normally before starting benchmark run to make sure they were configured correctly with no errors or stops that would effect run)

On fresh installs of Windows 10 Pro, 202H will all updates and latest drivers for both systems, as of 26/03/2021. Windows power profile was set to Performance, but otherwise stock install.

AMD System:
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X (PBO +200Mhz, FCLK 1900)
MB: Gigabyte B550 PRO AX (BIOS F13g)
RAM: G.SKill DDR4-3800 CL14, 32GB 2x16GB Dual Rank DIMMs
Custom Water cooling loop.

Intel System:
CPU: Core i7-11700K (stock other RAM set to Gear Mode 1)
MB: Gigabyte Z590 Gaming X (BIOS F3)
RAM: G.Skill DDR4-3600 CL16, 32GB 2x16GB Dual Rank DIMMs
Corsair H115i 280mm AIO fans & pump set to max speed.

It may look like Intel system is at a disadvantage due to slower RAM, but currently available information for 11 Gen Intel CPUs points to little to no performance scaling with RAM over DDR4-3200 CL16.

TrevEB, sorry for no replying to you question until now, my PC is been spread over my living room floor for the last couple of weeks.

I just use a simple Batch file with the command Bench [Rom Name] with runs the benchmark and output the result to a txt file with the [Rom Name].txt in a folder called Bench.

Once I've run all the benchmarks I open each of the txt file and copy the scores into Google spreadsheet. I then copy it into note pad to do some very basic formatting before posting here.

I did have much more complex batch file setup at one time, that processed the list of Rom name and benchmark then it turn coping the result to a single txt file with basic formatting. But it was lost somewhere along the way in a hard disk shuffle, and most of my ancient batch writing skills have now faded away to the point I haven't been motivated enough to reconstruct it.
