I have separate text files for each artwork release; the largest one ever is 18KB for the update on 20080709. This next one is already up to 27KB; 33% more write-up
* looks at whatsnew.txt for MAME 0.226... 89KB *
* stops whining *
* High time I buy Vas Crabb a beer *
I'm at the very, very end, but it's 3am... I need some rest... I'll find a way to squeeze this in during the week, I hope.

I haven't even gotten to that point yet... this next release is just for new artwork.
I have a Search/Replace program that can update the LAY files... I just need to be methodical about it when I do it.
