skip_gameinfo 1 is working on all games except 720. Anyone know why this would be happening?

I have no idea. I'm running MAME 0.225, and it is working correctly for me with 720.

Probably because you have a setting in 720.ini overriding it.

You are right! I didn't know that I even had a 720.ini. I have hundreds of games. That's the only one with an .ini file. How did it get created?

Some of the specific hardware of coinop games might require having an ini file configuration file needing to be created in order to run game automatically next time the game is set to be loaded and run in the future when using same version of MAME. 720 is (Atari System 1 / System 2 hardware) and other Atari games with that hardware (Marble Madness or Road Blasters) likely also create .ini files as well.
