Trackball brings up Pallet game page

So I have some trackball mame games that is my tankstick trackball. World class bowling dx in particular brings up a game "pallet" page when even you move the trackball. I have tried everything I can think or including reviewing mappings, delete cfg file, reimporting the rom and it still does it. Any idea why this is? Any help would be great. Thanks
