Hi-Scores - Asteroids

I did the Hi-score thing. All games seem to be holding on to the hi scores except Asteroids. When I launch the game, sometimes it holds the hi score and other times it doesn't. When it does it still has the info from previous launches.....it seems random

ok, after launching if you wait like 10 seconds the hi-score updates.....why though? All other games are instantaneous

I'd assume there is a delay of various lengths imposed added due to some games' code being sensitive to injecting hunks of data into RAM during initialization.
