MAME Trackball not working correctly on select games

I recently upgraded my old Win XP MAME PC to a Windows 10. Through some hurdles, I got just about everything working. My trackball works perfectly as a mouse...and I can play Missle Command without issue with it...however, when I play Golden Tee, the trackball is reversed....up moves down and vice versa.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?

While in-game go to the [tab] menu and analogue controls and reverse the axis and adjust sensitivity as needed.

Thanks, that did it....however, I didnt see an option to save it permanently (though I skimmed it before I left for work)....is there a way to save it so every time I play Golden Tee, the trackball is set correctly?

Saves it into the \cfg\*.cfg file for future use, assuming you have that directory and its writeable you should have it retained.
