Hmmm... what version of IE?

Tried here, everything is working okay... also tried multiple hosted sites, and they work also.

Weird... only thing I have different here is Win10; I don't have Win7 anymore to test out unfortunately.

Only other thing I can think of... maybe... is try Combatibility Settings... if mameworld.info is not listed there, then add it; if it already is, then delete it.

Other than that, this might be a Stiletto question. Sorry.

I have a solution: Don't use IE.

I'm being serious here, less than 3% of users of the Internet even still use it. There's a reason for that, and it's because only everyone's Nan who forwards crappy chain e-mails to all of her offspring still uses IE or Edge. The statistics don't lie:

You're essentially moaning about the fact that a website doesn't cater to about 3% of the Internet at large. Use Firefox or Chrome, or accept that you can't use this website.

Your constant refrain of "I'm old, I shouldn't have to learn new things" rings hollow. My mom is 65, and she still manages to Internet-stalk me. Learn.

I'm really curious now. What is this software that you use that relies on IE technology and needs access to mameworld and why?
