During my eternal research for Pit-Fighter development docs and media, I've come across some interesting stuff, such as an unreleased NES prototype! In fact, I do not have access to the game itself but the source of this material is legit and 100% trusted. I've never heard of this prototype until a couple of days ago. Below, I've posted the only 2 images released to public so far, being the 1st one a tilemap showing the title screen among with the names of some characters and the 2nd one showing part of the development docs. I hope to see something more promising soon:
