- The suffixes ".chd" and ".wav" are appended to the filenames of CHDs and Samples in the Audit dialog.

A small question: I remember that long ago by going to the "Options" menu, then "Interface Options" and then choosing "Show History on Tab" it was possible to view the information of a game under a screenshot.
Now it no longer works?

It still works, but it is not intuitive. You have to do 2 things to make it work. First as you said you need Options > Interface Options > Show History on Tab > Snapshot. Second you have to go into the view menu … View > Show Pictures and deselect History from the list. You can have everything, but History selected. Then you will get the History showing underneath the snapshots in the panel on the right.
