Man, as a kid, I always wanted one of those. They weren't around long and, as I remember, they were expensive. I used to think I'd find one a Goodwill, but no.
On the serious side of things, this could be, but expect more ttl devices likely needing to be emulated first in case it does not use any cpu. The video did show the pcbs for a bit, but logic schematics would help out first assuming any were ever printed. If schematics aren't around good luck finding someone willing to trace the circuits if able to get access to actual boards.
