Anyone benchmark MAME with a Ryzen CPU?

Haven’t upgraded my system in a while (4790k). Used to use Athlon processors when I started using MAME, but they just couldn’t keep up with Intel... price be damned.
Edit: OMG, what in the holy hell is this? Gotta roll back my statement on “price be damned” now...

The same rule applies that's always applied so far, which is that performance in MAME bottlenecks above 3-4 individual cores, and even then only on the few systems that make use of multithreaded 3D drawing, so you're still better off optimizing for whatever CPU gives you the best single-threaded performance.
