3D based Namco/Capcom (maybe others) PSX hardware driver based titles crashing with BGFX backend??

Can someone else try some of these games to see if its happening to you as well.
When I use the BGFX backend, in either D3D or OGL mode, these games will just crash out of Mame.
Tekken games, Ray Force, Ehrgeiz (Namco) Tech Romancer, Star Gladiator (Capcom)
Its only happening in these Playstation based Hardware games as well, all 2D based games run fine as do other 3D games (SF 2049, Guantlet Legends) with the BGFX backend so that would suggest its very specific to something BGFX doesn't like with this driver.

afaik the driver does resolution switches, which BGFX backend doesn't like much

There's an actual GitHub issue tracking this behavior, and if either of you were to look at it, you'd see that it's been fixed for literally weeks now.

Interesting. Upon further investigation it does indeed seem to be the problem, games that switch between low res & hi-res modes, are crashing.
Just tried some of the STV games that do this and they do crash out of Mame as soon as they try and switch to their Hi-Res mode for such things as their title screens(Cotton Boomerang & Radiant Silvergun).
Will the (above) fix be included in Mame .216? as I really like using the BGFX backend because of the flexibility when it comes to Shader effects
