Joystick problem with Apple II+ games

Good morning all !
I can not properly emulate the games on Apple II+ (apple2p.zip).
The games are launched but the joystick & keyboard are not recognized how to proceed ?

Which games were you trying?
In recent versions of MAME, Apple II series computers no longer have joystick support enabled by default, though it can be configured as a slot option (-gameio joy for the standard analog sticks, or -gameio joyport for more responsive digital controls with games that support the Sirius Joyport).

Hello thanks for your answer !
The game Lode Runner does not work... neither the keyboard nor the joystick... no key does not work why !
With AppleWin 1.28 it works fine I do not understand... how to proceed ?

Lode Runner seems to default to joystick controls whether or not you have a joystick installed (since the hardware offers no reliable way to detect this). To use the classic I/K/J/L/U/O keyboard controls, you have to press Control-K once gameplay begins.

Good evening & thank you for your help !
Actually after pressing Ctrl + K it works with the keys on the keyboard.
Too bad the joystick is not detected... in the future maybe ?
