Request to change data in png image tags

I have a small request for MAMEDevs: as the title suggests, I ask if it is possible to change the information in the "System" field if the image is created with software.
Taking the "psx" list, as an example, when an image is created with the "psj" machine and the "eikankm4" software, in the field of which I speak the generic text "Sony Computer Entertainment Inc Sony PlayStation (Japan)" is stored.
My suggestion, just in case you use a software loaded from a list, would be to put something like this: "[SONY PlayStation] Artdink Eikan has Kimini 4 (Jpn)", or something very similar, in order to infer from this field both the machine that generated the png file and what software it is.
I don't know if anyone has ever worked on this problem; I understand that this is something not very important for the purpose of emulation, but this would further increase the accuracy of the information.

It's potentially misleading though, because you can swap media after loading. We've also got heuristics for deciding which software list item was loaded in multiple places, that probably behave differently. Any implementation that increases the number of them is not an option.
