Darius 3 screens version and LFO channel !

Hi !
I remember, when i was young, i played on a 3 screens version of Darius and it was fabulous !!!
Now with Mame, I can almost find the same feelings, but something is missing in the game... the LFO channel !!!
When when I played on this big sofa, he was shaking like an earthquake with the speakers attached just below, but in Mame the LFO channel is not managed on this game.. (maybe others ?)
Is there a way ???

I found an article speaking of the "body sonic" effect !

According to the article, the "body sonic" experience was achieved by installing special speakers beneath the player. This can't be emulated. MAME will only emulate the sounds, but won't do any adjustments to give you that same experience that you might have felt in the arcade. MAME faithfully emulates the game, but not the hardware (like special speakers, etc)

I think it was just two speakers under the seat.. nothing more...
But it will be hard to verify...we must found someone with the real cabinet/hardware.

I wouldn't phrase it as "Nothing more".
It's called a transducer, it's a technology used in home theaters (Buttshaker, Buttkicker), some models of gaming seats, and I believe it's Cinemark that's adding it to most of their theaters right now. It's different than a speaker because it crosses over very low so that only bass is passed through.
If you really want it, you can buy a standalone transducer kit and install it yourself.

Ok, I know this technology and those butkicker things... I thought it was easier to implement a LFO channel like any 5.1 system nowadays.
Bit it seems it's not as simple as I would expect
